Loopily

Steps that change by day

One routine, not seven

Your Tuesday isn't your Wednesday. Most routine apps leave you two options: keep seven near-identical mornings in step with each other, or skip the bits that don't apply today and hope you notice. Loopily lets the routine know which is which.

A step can keep its own days

Put the bins out on Tuesday. Wash your hair Monday and Thursday. Take the meds that are Monday, Wednesday and Friday. They all sit in the same routine, and each one only appears on the days it actually applies.

The rules are the same ones a routine itself uses — every week, every other week, particular days, the last Friday of the month — so there's nothing new to learn once you've scheduled a routine.

And so can a single checklist item

It goes one level further down. Inside a step's checklist, an individual item can have its own days too — so “swap the gym kit” can live inside “pack the bag” and only show up on training days.

If you ever set days that can't line up with the routine's own schedule, Loopily says so on the spot rather than leaving you with a step that quietly never happens.

Per-day steps, the full calendar and improving estimates all come together on Loopily Plus.
